“Wellbeing is about the combination of our love for what we do each day, the quality of our relationships, the security of our finances, the vibrancy of our physical health, and the pride we take in what we have contributed to our communities. Most importantly, it’s about how these five elements interact.”

Calculate Your Water Intake!

Do you make the mistake of waiting until you feel thirsty before drinking water? Thirst isn’t a signal from your body indicating that your body water level is depleting--it is a warning that you are dehydrated and you need to drink up soon. By the time you feel thirsty your body would already have lost 1 -2 % of its water.

Use this equation to easily calculate your recommended daily water intake you need to keep yourself healthy and at peak physical and mental performance:

Family Health

Understand Your Family History

A family health history serves as a comprehensive record of medical information pertaining to an individual and their immediate relatives.

Given the shared genetic backgrounds and often similar environments and lifestyles within families, these factors can provide valuable insights into potential conditions that may be prevalent among family members. By identifying patterns of disorders among relatives, healthcare professionals can assess the likelihood of an individual, their family members, or future generations being at an elevated risk of developing specific health conditions.

Embrace the Multifaceted Nature of Wellness

Consider wellness as the epitome of being healthy in multiple facets of our lives. This encompasses our emotional, physical, occupational, intellectual, financial, social, environmental, and spiritual well-being. These dimensions are intricately interconnected, with each dimension serving as a foundation for the next.

Focus on Gratitude and Reflection

Take 75 seconds a day to reflect.

Our mental well-being is the foundation of our overall happiness and success. It not only impacts our ability to handle stress but also shapes our capacity to form deep and meaningful connections with others. When our minds are in a positive state, we are better equipped to navigate life's challenges and make wise decisions that align with our goals and values. By prioritizing our mental well-being, we empower ourselves to lead fulfilling lives, filled with joy, resilience, and the confidence to embrace all that life has to offer.

Review and Discuss your Household Budget

Effective money management involves meeting the day-to-day financial needs of your family, effectively handling unforeseen expenses, and wisely saving for the future. By taking control of your finances, you can alleviate stress and enhance your sense of security, allowing you to fully embrace and enjoy your family life without constantly worrying about money.

Cut 1/2 of Processed Food and Sugar

Processed foods are often loaded with added sugar, including high fructose corn syrup. Unfortunately, added sugar provides no essential nutrients, yet it packs a punch in terms of calories. Consuming excessive amounts of added sugar on a regular basis can even trigger compulsive overeating tendencies.
